2.1 Personal Access Tokens

Netli.fyi requires Netlify personal access tokens to authenticate with the Netlify API. These tokens are stored securely on your device using platform-specific secure storage (iOS Keychain or Android Keystore) and are never transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties. We only use these tokens to access your Netlify account data as requested by you.

2.2 Account Information

We access and display information from your Netlify account, including site names, build status, deploy information, domain configurations, and environment variables. This data is retrieved directly from Netlify's API using your personal access tokens and is not stored on our servers.

2.3 Analytics and Diagnostics Data

We collect analytics and diagnostics data to improve app performance and user experience. This includes:

  • Device information: Device type, operating system version, app version
  • Usage patterns: Screen views, feature usage, session duration
  • Crash reports and errors: Stack traces, error messages, and device state at time of crash
  • Performance metrics: App load times, API response times

3. Third-Party Services

Netli.fyi uses the following third-party services that may collect data:

3.1 Sentry (Error Tracking)

We use Sentry for crash reporting and error monitoring. Sentry collects:

  • Device information (model, OS version)
  • App state and error details when crashes occur
  • Session replay data (sampled at 10% of sessions, 100% for sessions with errors)
  • IP address (for geographic aggregation)

3.2 Vexo Analytics (Usage Analytics)

We use Vexo Analytics to understand how users interact with the app. Vexo collects:

  • Anonymous usage events and screen views
  • Device type and app version
  • Session information

You can opt out of Vexo Analytics at any time in the app's Settings > Analytics menu. For more information, see Vexo's Privacy Policy.

3.3 RevenueCat (In-App Purchases)

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat collects:

  • Anonymous user identifiers
  • Purchase history and subscription status
  • Device information for purchase validation

RevenueCat data collection cannot be disabled as it is required for subscription functionality. For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

3.4 Netlify API

Your use of Netlify services through this app is subject to Netlify's Privacy Policy. We access Netlify's API on your behalf using your personal access tokens.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the Netli.fyi service
  • Authenticate with Netlify on your behalf
  • Display your Netlify sites, builds, and deployments
  • Process in-app purchases and manage subscriptions
  • Identify and fix bugs, crashes, and performance issues
  • Understand app usage to improve features and user experience
  • Respond to your support requests

5. Data Storage and Security

Your Netlify personal access tokens are stored securely on your device using platform-specific secure storage mechanisms (iOS Keychain or Android Keystore). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

All communication between the app and external services (Netlify API, Sentry, Vexo, RevenueCat) is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We do not store your tokens on our servers.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Data is shared only with the third-party services listed above (Sentry, Vexo, RevenueCat) for the specific purposes described, and with Netlify's API to provide the core functionality of the app.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Opt out of analytics: Disable Vexo Analytics in Settings > Analytics
  • Delete your data: Remove your personal access tokens from the app at any time by signing out
  • Revoke access: Delete or regenerate tokens in your Netlify account settings
  • Access your data: View what Netlify data the app accesses through the app interface
  • Contact us: Request information about data we process

Note: Sentry error tracking and RevenueCat purchase tracking cannot be disabled as they are essential for app stability and subscription management.

8. Data Retention

Local data (access tokens, preferences) is retained on your device until you sign out or uninstall the app. Analytics and crash data retained by third-party services are subject to their respective retention policies:

  • Sentry: 90 days for error data
  • Vexo: As per their data retention policy
  • RevenueCat: Purchase history retained for subscription management

9. Children's Privacy

Netli.fyi is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
